care and support

At Tenovus we're dedicated to providing a range of services for cancer patients and their families.

We launched our Mobile Cancer Support Unit in February 2009 which travels across Wales, delivering cancer treatments including chemotherapy, emotional support through our Social Workers and Cancer Support Managers and practical support from our Welfare Rights Officer. We also deliver cancer education and youth health awareness programmes aboard the Unit.

"Tenovus helped me not to panic...cancer is a word, not a sentence"

You can see where our Mobile Cancer Support Unit will be going next along with all the news on our busblog.

We also have local cancer support centres in communities across the country. These centres offer face to face and telephone counselling, bereavement support, survivorship groups and a drop in advice centre.

There's support available online too, including counselling. You can read our patient experiences and talk to our experienced oncology nurses via email. They'll be able to answer any questions you may have about cancer - and provide advice on taking the next steps from early diagnosis right through to treatment and beyond.

Need support now?

And don't forget, you can call us on our freephone Cancer Support Line for 0808 808 1010.
