The Tenovus Welfare Rights Officers are extremely experienced in helping cancer patients and their families' to find their way around the benefits system, as we know money matters.

The services the Tenovus Welfare Rights department can offer include:

  • Acting as a representative and supporter on your behalf to make sure you find out and access whatever welfare rights your are entitled to.
  • Request the appropriate benefit forms on your behalf.
  • They can visit you at home or arrange to see you in the Tenovus Cancer Information Centre which is based at Velindre hospital.
  • They can link up with the various benefits agencies and local authorities on your behalf.
  • Help you fill in the various benefit forms.
  • Assist with accessing or claiming any grants.
  • Refer to other healthcare professionals who may be able to help when necessary.
