Friends of Tenovus Groups

We are always looking for more Friends of Tenovus group to raise awareness and contribute to our fundraising efforts.

what does a Friends of Tenovus group do?

• They help spread the word about the important services Tenovus provides across Wales
• They fundraise in the local community
• They have great fun!
• You decide how you fundraise, who you fundraise with and what events you would like to put on

Rhian Llewellyn, Llandybie FOT, says:

"Several members of our group have had personal experiences of cancer and others of us have cared for and supported family members affected by the disease. We started a friends of Tenovus group in 1981 to raise money to fund research and to provide better services and support for people just like us. We have had so much fun over the years by organising concerts, quiz nights, day trips and coffee mornings. We are now celebrating 30 years together and are determined to raise £10,000 over the next 12 months to pay for the tele-medicine equipment on the mobile unit."
