Health and Wellbeing Development Manager
Salary £25,000 - £30,000 (CIRCA). Cardiff
The post holder will work in partnership with the NHS, voluntary sector and businesses. The Health & Wellbeing Development Manager will be responsible for developing new and innovative cancer prevention initiatives involving local communities where the incidence of cancer is high.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the charities activities are underpinned by up to date knowledge of health promotion theory and effective health social marketing strategies
- Providing specialist advice to schools, businesses and community groups
- Writing and producing materials to promote key cancer prevention messages
- Assisting the volunteer manager in the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers involved in health promotion activities.
