Our Mobile Cancer Support Unit was launched at the Celtic Manor on February 2 2009 and since its opening, has already accommodated over 10,000 patients and visitors.

Working with Velindre NHS Trust, we have been delivering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments in Nantgarw and Cwmbran.

 

Treatment on Mobile Unit

Our Mobile Cancer Support Unit:

  • brings cancer care to the heart of a patient's community.
  • provides a wide range of services including chemotherapy, counselling, benefits advice and social support.
  • offers a flexible space to promote healthy behaviour and lifestyle through education programmes and health checks.
  • delivers innovative research-led cancer prevention and treatment in the community.
