Jane's Story

Jane Dines from Blackwood was diagnosed with breast cancer.

this is her story:

"When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I became unable to support my 89 year old mother due to the joint pain caused by the drugs I was taking. This made me feel guilty and anxious at a time when I need to cope with the demands of my treatment.

The Tenovus counsellor was excellent and helped me become more assertive and built up my confidence. The counsellor helped bring out the true me, I could not have achieved this without their gentle encouragement and perceptive understanding."
