"I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in July 2010 which was
extremely traumatic and distressing, but Tenovus were able to help
me stay positive. With Tenovus' support, I was able to discuss my
concerns which helped me to focus on my treatment and regain a
positive outlook.
The Tenovus Mobile Cancer Support Unit was an enormous help to
me. Being able to have my chemotherapy on the unit in my local
community in Pontypool every week saved me the stress and financial
pressures of travelling to hospital. The staff on the Unit were
brilliant, their warmth, support and friendly nature kept me
going".
