Our counselling service
Our counselling service is available to anyone affected by
cancer, including family and friends and those who are caring for
someone. We offer this over the telephone or face to
face at venues in Barry, Bridgend, Cardiff, Carmarthen, Cwmbran and
Merthyr and on board our Mobile Cancer Support Unit.
Many people find that being able to discuss things with someone
impartial and outside of their family and friends can
be really helpful. You can talk about your
cancer journey, including your fears or difficulties, and find
solutions in a safe and supportive space.
Everyone within our counselling team works to the ethical
framework as stipulated by the British Association for Counselling
and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you'd like more information or would like counselling please
call our Freephone Cancer Support Line on 0808 808 1010.
Sometimes it's easier to put things down in words rather than to
talk about it.
Just email us your question and we will get back to by the next
working day. Please include as much information as possible so
we can respond to your query accurately.
