Tenovus offer families bereavement support in Bridgend

Tenovus, Wales leading cancer charity will open its first Bereavement Support Group in Bridgend on Monday 7th June from 10:30am to 12 midday. The group will come together on a monthly basis aboard Tenovus’ Mobile Cancer Support Unit in Bridgend Designer Outlet car park, Bridgend and will provide advice and support to families and friends who have lost a loved one to cancer.
Sue Elford, Head of Tenovus’ Cancer Support Team said;
“Cancer affects people in all sorts of ways and Tenovus are determined that everyone should be receiving the best quality support available. With this in mind, we are delighted to be offering this new service in Bridgend, in the heart of patient’s communities.”
Tenovus Mobile Cancer Support Unit has been visiting Bridgend for over a year providing much needed support to people affected by cancer. We have brought advice on practical issues such as entitlements and social work support and our new support group will further develop and expand the services that we offer.
