Tenovus Rocks

Monday 9th March 2009

Music lovers are invited to Tenovus Rocks at Clwb Ifor Bach on Sunday 22 March to see local Cardiff bands, Wolves of St August, Pippa Rogers and The Ricochet and Short Man Syndrome.

The event will raise money for Tenovus’s recently launched mobile unit which delivers cancer care directly into communities in Wales that need it most.

Cerys Jones, community fundraiser at Tenovus, said, “The gig at Clwb promises to be night of entertainment and good music. All ticket proceeds will help us to raise funds for our mobile unit which is now delivering chemotherapy to patients away from the hospital setting.

“This will be the first time that we’ve organised a gig and if this one goes well we hope to organise more throughout the year.”

Tickets available on the door at £6/£5 NUS and all proceeds go to Tenovus. For more info contact Cerys 029 20768850.
