Tenovus, Wales' leading cancer charity, raised £7,100 at its Lovelight concert at Llandaff Cathedral.

Hosted by Archbishop of Wales Dr Barry Morgan, with Tenovus patron HRH The Princess Royal as guest of honour, the concert included performances by Treorchy Male Voice Choir, Howell's School Choir and Tenovus' Sing For Life Choir.

The event was sponsored by the Stephens & George Print Group.

Vanessa Jones of S&G said:

"We hope that through our sponsorship, we can raise awareness of the essential cancer support services that Tenovus provide to enable them to help more families affected by cancer."

Tenovus community fundraiser Verity Imm said:

"Lovelight gives families and friends an opportunity to come together to remember the lives of those who have been affected by cancer and to send good wishes for those who are suffering.

"The concert was a fantastic success and this is all down to the amazing team work  building up to the event and during the concert itself.

"We are so grateful to HRH The Princess Royal for her continued support of Tenovus and to Archbishop Dr Barry Morgan for kindly hosting the event for us."
