communication and cancer

Eurocancercoms is a European Commission funded project looking at the issues surrounding the communication and dissemination of cancer information across Europe.

The project involves the whole cancer community patients to clinicians and scientists.

Tenovus is one of 18 key partner organisations based across Europe gathering research on how information is communicated between clinicians, scientists, policy makers and patients.

The Eurocancercoms project will provide recommendations for the European Commission to improve the communications between these key groups which will strengthen research, improve patient choice and ultimately improve cancer outcomes.

This project is supported by a FP7 Grant by the EU.
